Projects


PhD Project


I am doing my PhD on Communication and Journalism (major in Health Communication) at Massey University, New Zealand. My PhD topic is “Construction of health among the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh: A Culture-Centred Approach.”


Garments worker project


I have started to work on the Garments worker project in March 2022. The title of the project is "Negotiations of health among garment workers of Bangladesh."


Rohingya meanings of health project


This projects deals with the Rohingya refugees living in Aotearoa New Zealand. This project explores the challenges and negotiations of health experiencing by the Rohingya refugees who got third country resettlement in New Zealand.


Violence Prevention Needs in Diverse Communities


This project engaged with diverse communities (disabled, aged, rainbow and new migrants) of NZ to identify their needs in the context of primary prevention of family violence and sexual violence. The final report has been submitted to NZ Govt.


Experiences of COVID-19 among low-income households


It was the first project I worked as a Research Assistant of CARE (Center for Culture-Centered Approach to Research and Evaluation), Massey University. This project explores the challenges of Covid-19 by the low-income households of Aotearoa New Zealand.
