Panel Presenter
I participated in the International Conference on Sustainable Solutions to the Rohingya Crisis: Policies and Practices, organised by the SIMEC Research Centre, and held on 20 December 2025 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I served as a panel discussant in the “Agency & Expressions for Sustainable Solutions” panel, where I presented my analysis titled “Amplifying Rohingya Voices in Sustainable Solutions: A Culture-Centred Analysis.”

Conference Presenter
I presented on Rohingya refugees’ negotiations of COVID-19 at the “margins of the margins” at the ICA (International Communication Associatio) CARE Pacific Hub Workshop, held on 28 May 2023 at the Manawatū Campus of Massey University, New Zealand. The workshop was part of the 73rd ICA Conference (2023) and was organised by the Centre for Culture-Centered Approach to Research and Evaluation (CARE), Massey University, New Zealand.

Panel presenter
I delivered a presentation on Rohingya refugee organising at the margins in Aotearoa New Zealand, highlighting the processes of the Culture-Centred Approach (CCA) and the practical and ethical challenges encountered while working with refugee communities. This presentation was delivered at the CARE (Centre for Culture-Centered Approach to Research and Evaluation) 10th Anniversary Conference, held on 29 November 2022 at the Manawatū Campus of Massey University.

I participated (online) in a panel discussion titled 'Health Inequities, Communicative Inversions and Structural Barriers in the Health Experiences of Spatially and Systemically Displaced Refugees, Migrants, and Low-wage Workers' at the ICA (International Communication Association) Conference (26-30 May) 2022, Paris, France.

I presented an extended abstract titled, 'Negotiations of Health Among Rohingya Refugees in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh: A Culture-Centered Approach to Health and Care' at the International Communication Association (ICA) Conference (27-31 May) 2021.
